How To: Link a Bank Account

Shrimpy Advisory has partnered with Plaid to link your bank account to your Shrimpy Advisory account for easy deposits and withdrawals. You can deposit funds into your account at any time. 

The newly detected funds will be automatically distributed into the baskets based on the current strategy allocations. 

It is worth noting that Gemini is the custody provider for Shrimpy Advisory. This means that all deposits are sent to Gemini. However, there is nothing you must do to facilitate the transfer of cryptocurrencies to Gemini, this is automatic.

How to Link a Bank Account

Select the drop-down box and go to the Account Info page. 

Under Linked Accounts, select Link Bank Account. 

Complete the 2FA and then select Continue. 

Select the financial institution to link. 

Depending on the financial institution, you will be prompted to log in to the account or authenticate the account. 

Complete the steps to link the financial institution and select Submit. You may be prompted to complete identity verification steps that may include:

• Text message security code
• Email security code
• Verify deposit amount

After completing all of the security steps, there will be a success message. Select Continue. 

Select a nickname for the Linked Bank Account and select Save. 

The linked bank account will appear in the Linked Accounts section.
